We aim to always improve the conditions in the working environment in order to stimulate our personnel and maintain safety and good health.
MMT takes full responsibility for ensuring safe working conditions for all personnel. The company management makes sure that this responsibility is delegated in the organisation.
Every employee has his/her own personal responsibility for his/her health and working environment.

If an accident occurs in spite of all precautions, we ensure that the consequences are as limited as possible. Our personnel, our customers and others around us should have confidence in our safety procedures.

MMT has established an equality policy in accordance with Swedish regulations. The intention is that this policy will be reviewed each year and to ensure that the policy is followed in every aspect. The equality plan is defined by how this work is performed. The main goal is for the plan to be realistic and adapted to the working situation.

MMT’s general principle is that all people are of equal value, regardless of gender, race or other characteristics. All employees have to be treated on the basis of the principle and be given the same conditions to develop within the company. Every person’s unique qualities are promoted. Salaries and terms of employment are equal for all employees with similar work tasks.

Opportunities to combine healthy work and family life are supported by MMT. There is an aspiration to achieve even distribution of men and women for each work position within MMT. Working conditions within the company are aimed at supporting all employees. All employees must feel that they can enjoy the working environment and that no one is the subject of any form of harassment.

MMT Group AB is an interdisciplinary company with expert knowledge of oceanography, marine geology and marine biology.  We offer turnkey solutions to customers requiring high-resolution sea floor mapping, geology or ROV services. It is essential to provide the best possible level of safety offshore, for all co-workers, equipment and the environment.

We perform our operations and services in such a way that the impact on the environment is minimized, in compliance with current legal requirements and other demands to which our organisation is subject.

We believe that a good working environment is good for our business and makes us competitive. The working environment must, as far as possible, suit our employees’ physical and psychological conditions and keep them safe and in good health. Compliance with applicable legal requirements and other demands to which the organisation is subject is a minimum in our HSE work.  Our top management team takes full responsibility for ensuring safe working conditions for all personnel as well as making sure that this responsibility is suitably delegated. We encourage our personnel to be involved and suggest improvements to the working environment.

Our HSE management system is intended to drive our effort towards improvements in health & safety and the environment. They are also intended to assist us in managing operational risks and improving performance.

Continual improvements and development of the HSE Management System are part of day-to-day work within the organisation. Our ambition is for all customers, colleagues and external parties to have confidence in our environmental activities, today and in the future.
