HSE award by BG
MMT was recently awarded the Golden Hardhat by BG Tanzania Ltd for MMT HSE performance during their survey operation in Tanzania in 2015.
BG explanatory statement was:
“…It’s vital we recognize these safety ambassadors. You are one of them and I thank you for your effort. You have displayed extraordinary safety commitment, with outstanding behaviours and ideas, based on the four duties we expect from everyone: Observation, Intervention, Compliance and Collaboration.”
MMTs COO Nils Ingvarson comments on the award: “The HSE performance is an important part in MMTs work and this award is a proof of our continuous improvements in the HSE area. An award like this is a great acknowledgement for us.”
MMT shared the award with our sub-contractor VRM, which was a great companion in all safety- and security issues.
