UXO detection presentation from MMT at UXO Survey Seminar in Southampton

16-06-2015

The Hydrographic Society UK is organizing and hosting this one-day seminar and accompanying table-top Exhibition with focus on Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Surveys. It takes place on Friday the 19th of June in Southampton. MMT will participate including having a presentation with brand new information from successful UXO projects.

An increased expansion of offshore installations has required a new and innovative approach to UXO detection and clearance. MMT have worked together with leading UXO experts to gain a unique experience through trials and tests in UXO detection. We have provided UXO services to Tennet, Statoil and Nord Stream and many more. As part of the risk assessment for all submarine installations, we provide detection, verification, excavation and clearance services for UXO’s, both on or below the seabed surface. Our teams of certified munition experts, together with our extensive experience, make us leaders in this service.

MMT will give a presentation on the topic “UXO detection – Multi-stage processes to efficiently plan subsea structure installations” at 11.55hrs on Friday the 19th of June.

The conference will take place Southampton Solent University Conference Centre situated in the Sir James Matthews Building in Above Bar Street, Southampton.
