Our purpose

Our driving force is deeply anchored in the seabed.

True passion since 1976

With the adventurer and marine biologist Ola Oskarsson at the rudder, MMT has explored the sea since 1976. Today we are 250 dedicated specialists, spread among competences as project managers, marine geologists, geophysicists, geotechnical engineers, biologists, oceanographers, hydrographers, ROV pilots, engineers, technicians, CAD-, GIS- and IT crew.

Our passion for the sea has taken us to places no one has been before, making us dive deeper and work harder than anyone else. The mix of big-hearted adventurers and highly skilled specialists is a unique composition of enthusiasts. We put our clients first and we are adaptive towards their needs. Together we have the possibility to make the invisible visible.

We do what we believe in. And what we are best at. It could mean that we create a brand new composition of technologies and equipment. That we refine our software so the data become even more visual, readable and useable. That we always try to be one step ahead to create more efficient and profitable solutions for our clients.

Regardless what we improve or how the survey solutions are composed, we make sure to test it in-house before launching it in a project. To handle potential difficulties and challenges we ensure that we have a plan for all scenarios. That is why we also have the ability to change path if needed due to client requirements.

800 projects later we know what is required of us. Since the start we have tuned and sharpened our offers into perfection. Our team of niche experts are devoted to deliver beyond the clients’ expectations. We pride our focus on health, safety, environment and quality. Apart from our survey operations being certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018—we constantly develop our processes for HSEQ.

However, we are not easily satisfied. We can always do better and continuously develop ourselves and our expertise. We train new talents from day one and we make sure that the knowledge is spread.
